Education Founded on Practicality and Rooted in Science and Ancient Wisdom:
Our practical foundation program in Natural Nutrition is comprised of 17 holistic nutrition courses (note: one course split for Distance Education format), including four science courses that make up 1/3 of program hours.
CSNN Students trade classroom hours for real-life case studies, using comprehensive intake forms to examine all internal and external factors affecting a person’s nutritional health and wellbeing. Graduates are able to support the whole person- physically, mentally, and spiritually- through all stages of their life and health, and are qualified to provide individualized holistic recommendations and monitor the progress of clients until their health and wellness goals are reached.
Current Curriculum with Some Exclusive Books:
Recognizing a need to fill a gap in the nutritional educational field, CSNN publishes works by experienced and reputable Holistic Nutrition professionals and other expert health care professionals. These books (some being exclusive to CSNN) are available to CSNN students and graduates, including:

- Cultivating Wholeness
- Business Legal Handbook
- Nutritional Pathology
- Nutritional Literature Research Handbook
Focus on Careers, with Job Search Assistance:
Holistic Nutritional Consultant professionals graduating from CSNN work in private practice or with other health care professionals to institute preventive health care programs. Graduates have found career opportunities in a variety of sectors.
Graduates gain access to CSNN’s online job board, with job postings and other industry employment opportunities. Items are also posted at the individual classroom locations for students.
Support from Alumni Association:
The CSNN Alumni Association (CSNNAA) is an incorporated, non-profit organization that is the starting point for CSNN graduates. Through community, information and partnership, the Alumni Association endeavors to support, encourage and guide all CSNN graduates to achieve success in their chosen path within the industry.
The CSNNAA hosts an annual Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference each Spring, and also maintains the Registry for CSNN’s professional designations. They provide the tools holistic nutrition professionals need to start their business successfully, by offering members promotional opportunities, business mentorship, newsletters, and tools that help graduates with their holistic nutrition practice, including website building, networking, interviewing tips, and more. Active CSNNAA members also receive a 10% tuition discount on continuing education workshops offered at CSNN.
Post-Grad Membership Opportunities:
Become Board Certified in Practical Holistic Nutrition with CAHN-Pro
Graduates of CSNN’s Natural Nutrition Program have the opportunity to become professional members of the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro) and write the board certification exam for industry recognition. Members also have the opportunity to participate in CAHN-Pro’s job and business creation initiatives. CSNN’s Advanced Holistic Nutrition workshops are recognized by CAHN-Pro as upgrade hours.
Recognition by the NANP – Beneficial for Graduates Interested in Practicing in the U.S.
Graduates of CSNN’s Natural Nutrition Program who wish to practice in the United States, and who have completed CSNN’s Advanced Holistic Nutrition workshops AN106 and AN109, meet the educational standards to become professional members of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). They also qualify to write NANP’s board certification exam.
We currently have 14 Classroom Locations across Canada, including 4 locations in British Columbia, 2 in Alberta, 6 in Ontario, and 2 in the Atlantic provinces.
