Welcome to CSNN Halifax

CSNN Halifax offers the one-year full-time diploma program in Natural Nutrition that leads to the R.H.N. designation, with accompanying professional title Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant™. This program is offered with two start dates per year: One in September (Day Classes), and one in March (Night Classes). Please go to the “Schedules” page for a list of class days and times.

CSNN Halifax is located on the eastern shore of HRM Harbour and situated on the northeast shore of the Bedford Basin in Dartmouth’s Burnside Park. An ideal location!

Located minutes from downtown Dartmouth, a ferry ride to HRM or a bus trip to Bedford – we have the ability to enjoy the best of HRM Regional Municipality (HRM).

Nicknamed the City of Lakes after the large number of lakes located in the city. Situated on the HRM Harbour, Dartmouth is linked to its neighboring city of HRM by the oldest continuously operating salt water ferry service in North America, where you’ll find art galleries, museums, historic sites, seaport farmers market, beautiful churches, boutique shopping, sidewalk cafes and of course nightclubs.

HRM is known for its lively entertainment, spectacular shows, first class sporting events, live theatre on both sides of the harbor, as well as scrumptious dining. HRM is a modern port city teeming with culture and heritage and the perfect place to attend the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. HRM has an impressive array of entertainment, local-food restaurants, and gorgeous gardens. Boasting with charming seaside towns, sun-drenched beaches, sparkling coves and miles of rugged shoreline guarded by graceful lighthouses. City living with the charms of small town life and the pristine beauty of nature – all in one place!

The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Halifax is licensed as a Private Career College by the Government of Nova Scotia Labour and Advanced Education. Our Registration number is PCC852014.

With access to local complementary health practitioners, local farming, and natural beauty, the HRM branch is able to incorporate these into the weekly practicum sessions by inviting professionals from our community to lecture on related topics. This provides students the opportunity to network and learn about their community’s health care practitioners.

Students enjoy our annual trip to a farm, in-class intro to yoga, raw foods & sprouting session, and presentations from professionals such as; osteopaths, naturopathic doctors, reflexologists, etc. For more information specific to the Halifax Branch, please click on the links below:
