CSNN Mississauga Branch Manager

She has been working in private practice since 2007, specializing in helping adults, children and families create a healthy lifestyle through holistic nutrition, exercise and supplementation to optimize their health.

She is an avid cook and loves to teach her clients and students easy and healthy ways to prepare everyday meals. She also helps them take out the confusion of shopping for healthy foods and chemical free products for themselves and their families. Linda’s education and passion for clean living has led her to source out healthy chemical free foods, house cleaning products, and products for the body.

Linda worked for the school board for 17 years working with young children in the classroom. She made it her mission to help educate the teachers, students and parents of the children, the importance of healthy eating and nutrient dense foods. She was responsible for a breakfast program at the school which has been a great success.

Linda has been teaching Symptomatology, Pediatrics, and Eco Nutrition courses at CSNN Mississauga since 2014. She guides students on how to cohesively bring all that they have learned from courses and practicals into context when preparing client case studies. Her various practicals include Case Studies, Whole Food Menu Planning and the Anti-Inflammatory Diet. 

Dr. Diana received an honors degree in Sociology from York University in 1990. He continued his education and received a degree from York University in Psychology. Dr. Diana graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1995, and has established his practice as a Naturopathic Doctor through a number of clinics in Ontario located in Toronto, Markham, and Simcoe. While he has developed an eclectic practice, he has cultivated particular expertise in women’s issues using Bioidentical hormones, Allergies and Naturopathic Oncology, Fibromyalgia and preventive healthcare.

Dr. Diana regularly contributes to articles on natural health topics in various journals and magazines and lectures extensively across the greater Toronto area teaching preventative medicine. He is writing a book on preventive health care and is involved in supplement product development.

Dr. Diana has been teaching at CSNN Mississauga since 1999. He teaches Hormone Health, Pathology & Nutrition, Introduction to Herbs, and Advanced Nutrition workshops including Detoxification. He also teaches various practicals on Alternative/Comparative Diets, Ketogenic Diet, Autoimmunity, and Cardiovascular Disease. 

Denise Massie received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006. She graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Mississauga branch in 2015 and received her Professional Plant-Based Certification from Rouxbe Online Cooking School in 2017.

Denise is passionate about showing others how simple healthy plant-based cooking can be and has been teaching cooking classes for several years. She is an experienced speaker who has given many public talks and conducted workplace wellness sessions. She has published articles in Nourish and Ontario Vegans Magazine, and has contributed to GoodnessMe.ca.

In her private practice, Denise specializes in whole foods plant-based nutrition. She works not only with vegan and vegetarian individuals and families, but also those who are incorporating more plant-based meals into their daily lives. Using her background in psychology and knowledge of holistic nutrition Denise helps her clients to support their mental wellness through their food, supplement, and lifestyle choices.

Denise has been teaching at CSNN Mississauga since 2018. She teaches the Fundamentals of Nutrition Part II and the Body Mind Spirit – The Mind Connection course. She also teaches various practicals on Introduction to Plant Based Nutrition and Plant Based Meal Planning.

Dr. Hassard received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Mc Master University in 1982, Doctor of Chiropractic in 1986, Homeopathic Diploma in 1996 and holds a Diploma in Acupuncture.

Dr. Hassard has been regular contributor as a health columnist and consultant for American Men’s Health and Fitness magazine.

He established the Hassard Chiropractic Clinic in Oakville in 1986, where he has been practicing for 34 years. Dr. Hassard is the highest rated chiropractor in the Oakville Burlington area and on the patient reviewed web site, ratemds.com.

Dr. Hassard has been a teacher at CSNN Mississauga since 2002. He teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Bio Chemistry and Epigenetics, Nutritional Literature Research, and the Advanced Nutrition workshop on Homeopathy. He also teaches various practicals on Genetics & GMOs, Homeopathy, and Laser Therapy. 

Peg received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 and her Bachelor of Education from Western in 1978 leading to a MEd from OISE/UT. She was a high school science and mathematics teacher for 12 years and a guidance counselor for 20. With a life-long interest in food and nutrition, she went on to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional and graduated in 2005 from CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program in Mississauga.

Since retiring from teaching, Peg has a private practice in Holistic Nutrition and is a yoga instructor completing a number of certifications through Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy.

Peg has been teaching at CSNN Mississauga since 2010. Courses include the Advanced Holistic Nutrition workshop in Mental Health as well as practicals such as Metabolic Typing, Paleo and Keto, Overcoming Addictions and Developing Counselling Skills.

Dr. Raponi graduated from York University in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. With his knowledge from sports nutrition courses in university, and prior training, he worked with athletes of various levels of competition for 10 years. In 2017, Dr. Raponi graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where he chose to pursue a focus in sports medicine. He directed his attention to management of pain and recovery, weight loss and nutrition in order to return others back to optimal health.

Upon graduating from the college, he went on to open his own clinic in conjunction with a gym where he now leads a multidisciplinary team as the clinic director.

In 2016 he also received his certification as a Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN). Before teaching at CSNN Mississauga, Dr. Raponi had 14 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting.

He has been featured in articles on Reader’s Digest, OliveOilTimes.com, OrganicAuthority.com and other various online sources.

Dr. Raponi has been teaching the Sports Nutrition course since 2014. 

Anja is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional that graduated from CSNN Mississauga in 2003. She continued her education in Reflexology, Reiki, Iridology and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Anja is Board Certified and an extended board member of the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals, (CAHN-Pro) and is also an active member of CSNN’s Alumni Association.

In private practice, her focus is on the nourishing and preventative benefits of a whole foods diet. She assesses her client’s specific needs and requirements to achieve optimal health and vitality. Anja has also been involved in presenting lunch ‘n’ learn lectures at the corporate level.

Anja teaches various practicals on Adrenal Fatigue, Power Over Stress, Bone Health, Gluten – The Good & Bad and Alternative Health Modalities.

Carley attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and graduated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional in 2010. For the past 15 years Carley has been a Make-up Artist regularly seeing clients and has obtained over 10,000 hours of directly working on skin and observing patterns of dehydration and malnutrition.

Her make-up client list includes: CTV, CP24, Much Music, OMNI Television and Sutherland Models. In addition she has worked at the M.M.V.A.’s Toronto Film Festival and Toronto Fashion Week. In 2009, she was Jeanne Becker’s personal make-up artist.

Her holistic approach for her clients in private practice is from the inside out and head to toe. Carley uses organic, chemical free products, whole nutrient dense foods and supplements.

Carley has been teaching at CSNN Mississauga since 2014. She teaches various practicals on Skinformation (organic skin and body care), Essential Oils, and Superfoods. 

Cris Brown is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) that graduated from CSNN Mississauga. She is also a Culinary Nutrition Expert CNE and a Certified Food Service Manager (CFM).

Cris was in the food service industry for over 20 years and watched cost saving policies take precedence over quality so she has an invested appreciation for the need to utilize nutrient dense whole foods to support our bodies. She is an entrepreneur and loves to empower others to take the nutritional journey for wellness.

With a post secondary education in business with honours, it was an easy transition to implement her functional nutrition practice online that focuses on holistic wellness such as 1:1 coaching, thyroid imbalance, acne, liver detoxification and hormone balancing.

Cris consults for other nutritional companies and is an enthusiastic teacher at CSNN Mississauga. She teaches the Fundamentals of Nutrition Part 1 and Motivational Interviewing Skills courses.

Marissa graduated from CSNN Mississauga with the academic achievement award in 2018. She has been working as a board-certified Holistic Nutritionist – R.H.N, since 2018 and has a private practice. Marissa is incredibly passionate about nutrition for wellness especially when it comes to women’s health. Marissa works with parents to support their children and adolescents as well as men and women working through digestive challenges like SIBO, IBS/IBS, Crohn’s/Colitis and other autoimmune disease.

Marissa graduated with honors with from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition in January 2019. She hosts private cooking classes for her clients, so that they can learn how to easily and practically prepare healthy whole food to support their overall health. She prepares meal plans and provides food resource templates for prepping and preparing meals each week and enjoys helping her clients build a sustainable dietary lifestyle.

Prior to becoming a board-certified Holistic Nutritionist Marissa worked in both Surgical Dentistry and spent many years in a Senior Management Role in the fitness industry.

Her passion for exercise and building a well-rounded lifestyle has been a part of her life since she was a child. A national level competitive dancer then; she continues to teach yoga, pilates, and other fitness classes at GoodLife fitness as well as lead SHSM certifications, webinars, and virtual learning for the Peel Board of Education. Here she teaches the leaders of the next generation build an understanding of healthy eating principles for a variety of placements including aspiring Kinesiologist needing food foundations for sports nutrition. cooking classes for hospitality and tourism students and Nutrition and Wellness for aspiring med students. Marissa has also taught the principals of nutrition in both elementary and secondary schools in Halton over the past three years. She is motivated to guide others into using food for medicine and assisting students develop a foundation in dietary lifestyle that supports wellness throughout life.

Marissa teaches the Fundamentals of Business course at CSNN Mississauga and practicals.
