The holistic nutrition field is both multifaceted and constantly changing. Your success in this field will depend on your ability to stay competitive and pursue all available opportunities. CSNN’s Advanced Holistic Nutrition (AHN) workshops give you rounded in-depth knowledge on subjects that will help you practice holistic nutrition. Also, some of the workshops will give you insight into the practices of complementary practitioners, as this integrated approach will give you the tools you need to work effectively alongside other practitioners in the health care industry. Even though CSNN’s AHN workshops are designed specifically for holistic nutritionists, those studying or working in other health care modalities are welcome to take any of the interest non-mandatory workshops.

Within its Advanced Holistic Nutrition program, CSNN offers a variety of different workshop subjects for eg. Advanced Pathology, an advanced course in Detoxification, Safe and Effective Supplementation and Aromatherapy. Students are able to pick workshops which speak to individual interests, strengths, and goals. CSNN’s AHN workshops may be taken individually for upgrade and interest purposes, and/or may be taken for the accumulation of credits towards CSNN’s Advanced Holistic Nutrition diploma. Please note that the AHN workshops count as upgrade hours for associations such as the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro)(www.cahnpro.org), and AN106 and AN109 along with CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program qualify for membership to the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.(www.nanp.org).
