Debbie Allen, DSHomMed, RHN

Debbie is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She operates her own nutrition practice called Health on Earth in Aurora, Ontario. She has developed some practicums for CSNN and also teaches for the school. Debbie works with athletes' nutrition and supplementation to improve their health, endurance, and performance. She does public and corporate speaking across Ontario on proper nutrition and correcting health issues naturally. Debbie's approach to excellent health covers many areas such as nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle counselling. Debbie went back to school in 2008 and graduated from the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine as a Homeopathic Doctor. She was introduced to homeopathy by first being a patient herself and quickly realized the curative effects of homeopathy.  She offers services in Classical Homeopathy and Holistic Nutrition in her practice which is a wonderful combination to achieve optimal health.

 

Susan Baker, B.Sc., R.H.N.

Susan is graduate of the CSNN nutrition program. She supports individuals on their path to optimal health through nutrition consultations at Naturopathic Foundations Health Clinic in Markham. She has a special interest in digestion, food sensitivities, and allergies. She also leads nutrition-based seminars in companies and community groups. Susan teaches Sciences, and is a practicum teacher at the CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.

Deborah Berg, N.D.

Deborah Berg is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with a successful practice in Richmond Hill. She teaches Nutritional Pathology in Greater Toronto Area branches.

 

Julie Carrique, R.H.N.

Julie is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She has her own practice in Bradford and is the in-house nutritionist at a fitness center in Newmarket. She teaches Wellness Management at a post-secondary institution, regularly conducts nutrition seminars and cooking classes for various organizations and municipalities, and has been a guest lecturer at the Ontario Police College. Julie is also a Certified Personal Trainer and avid runner. She regularly lectures on nutrition at various Running Room locations and has successfully completed a number of half and full marathons. Julie teaches at CSNN in the Greater Toronto Area.

Jennifer Chen, B.Sc., N.D.

After graduating with an Honours B.Sc. in Biology from McMaster University, Jennifer completed her studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated in 1999. Jennifer practices in Toronto. Jennifer has extensive training in NAET, Bowen Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy and has a special interest in working with autistic children. Jennifer is also very involved with research in this field. She teaches Allergies at the CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.

Deborah Christinzo, R.H.N.

Deborah has over 20 years experience in the field of Holistic Health. She is a graduate of CSNN and teaches at CSNN. She also teaches a general science program in nutrition at Seneca College of Applied Arts. She has a private practice in Richmond Hill under the name of Select Nutrition. She has conducted over 100 health related seminars in various universities over the last few years. She is currently enrolled in Clayton College in the United States and is working towards her BSc in Nutrition.

 

Elizabeth Clarke, B.A., R.H.N.

Elizabeth Clarke holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto. Her creative energy has lead her since then to successful career paths. Currently, in addition to being a holistic nutritionist practicing out of York University's Glendon Althletic Club, Liz instructs fitness and cycling classes at various locations across Toronto. She is a certified Personal Training Specialist, a certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor and completed the Stott's Pilates Instructor Training Program. Elizabeth delivers a variety of educational seminars at many local organizations.

Jeannie Cook, B.A.(Hlth),R.H.N.

Jeannie is a graduate of York University's Department of Nursing, Health Studies degree program and has a diploma in holistic nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Jeannie teaches Fundamentals of Business as well as other nutrition courses at the CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.

Jenny Cortez, B.Sc., MHN, R.H.N., PTS

Jenny Cortez is a biochemist with a Masters in Human Nutrition. She is also a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She has more than 15 years experience in research, clinical studies and nutritional therapy. She has her private practice as a nutritional consultant in Toronto and Durham area. She teaches sciences and research methodology. She frequently appears on television and speaks on radio programs. Her main areas of expertise include diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid disorders, weight loss, sports and pediatric nutrition, and allergies.

Caroline M. Dupont, M.Sc., R.H.N.

Caroline holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, a Black Belt in the NIA technique (a holistic movement form), is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and a Certified E.M.S. Balancing Practitioner. Through her company Health & Beyond, she works with clients individually, offers NIA mind, body, fitness and whole-foods cooking classes, and presents various health related topics. She teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Greater Toronto Area branches and at Seneca College's Holistic Health Program.

Arlene Falomo, B.Sc., N.D.

Alene is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She operates a full-time Naturopathic practice in Mississauga, Ontario and provides part-time naturopathic services to a multidisciplinary clinic located in Maple, Ontario. Alene's approach to naturopathy and holistic health covers many facets including nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and Asian medicine. In addition to her private practice, Alene is a faculty member at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, where she teaches science and nutrition courses.

Sharron Greenfield, R.H.N., B.A.

Sharron Greenfield has an Honors degree in Psychology and is also a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Her expertise is in the areas of Sports Nutrition and disease prevention. Her passion and commitment to natural nutrition are seen in her role of educator at CSNN. She also gives group workshops and does corporate sessions. She is well-versed in the psychology of nutrition and the food-mood connection.

Vivian Lee, B.A., R.H.N., R.N.C.P., T.C.M.Dp.

Vivian is the licensed manager of the Toronto Branch where she also teaches. Since departing from her corporate career, Vivian has become a multi-disciplinary practitioner in holistic health and has been practicing in the last ten years. Among her practices, is Nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The latter is a certified discipline that encompasses herbology, acupuncture and tuina. She is also a qualified instructor of ZhiNeng® Medicine QiGong and is active in expounding natural healing to current applications and science.

Debora Palmieri, BASc., R.H.N., R.N.C.P.

Debora graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University in 2003. She is also a graduate of CSNN (2004). Her practice, Healthy Choices, gives her the opportunity to help individuals rediscover their vibrant, youthful selves. Debora is also a freelance writer for local magazines and offers seminars on health and nutrition. She teaches a variety of courses at CSNN in the GTA area.

Lilian Presti, B.A.

Lilian Presti has been working in the field of wellness for the last 8 years. She currently does one-on-one nutritional counseling in several health clubs and runs a weight loss program in a wellness centre. She strives to help attain goals in weight loss, improved vitality, healthy pregnancy and children's nutrition. She delivers corporate nutrition seminars and wellness programs.

Lilian has been featured in various magazines, MSN/Sympatico's Weight Loss Challenge and occasional TV appearance. She has also worked with beauty product companies to add nutritional expertise to their promotional activities.

Erin Psota B.Sc., N.D.


Erin completed her medical studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Waterloo. Her passion regarding children’s health care led her to Arizona in pursuit of a unique Pediatric Residency opportunity in 2010. Erin is the only Canadian ND to have completed a residency of this kind. Erin is registered and actively involved with the Ontario Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N).

With the belief that an integrative setting is the best approach to health care, Erin maintains a general family and pediatric practice at two locations downtown Toronto alongside medical doctors, chiropractors, midwives, registered massage therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and orthopedists.

Susan Rowan, B.Sc., MLT, R.H.N.

Susan has many years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. She has a successful nutritional counseling practice and is invited to present corporate seminars on nutrition-related topics throughout North America. Susan teaches at the CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.

Lorene Sauro, B.A., R.H.N.

As a member of Knives and Forks-Advocates of Organic Agriculture, Lorene has been working with farmers and promoting organic agriculture for twelve years. As a Cordon Bleu graduate, she has worked in the food industry for seventeen years as a chef and a product developer for many corporate companies. She is currently working as nutritionist, teacher, and product developer. She teaches at CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.

Carolyn May Steiss, R.H.N.

Carolyn May, owner  of Holistic Solutions Inc. is a registered Holistic Nutritionist. She has worked in the field of natural health care for 33 years. Carolyn May is affiliated with many environmental organizations and is involved in the protection of Canadian citizens right to choose natural health care products (NHP’s) as well as promoting organic farming practices. Carolyn May is the manager at the Mississauga branch of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition for the last sixteen years. She teaches  allergies part time and other related courses at her CSNN branch.

Rosemary Stovell, B.ScN., R.M.T.

Rosemary is a Registered Massage Therapist who has a background in nursing. Her last eight years in nursing were spent practicing in a psychiatric unit at St. Martha's Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She has four years of experience working with the elderly in a nursing home. Six years ago she underwent a career change and she is presently practicing healing work, (Therapeutic massage, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reiki, EMF Balancing), out of her home as well as at a Halifax clinic. She has taught at the Canadian College of Natural Medicine in Bedford, N.S., and is presently teaching at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (Scarborough).

Ashima Suneja, BSc, ND

Ashima attained an honours B.Sc. from the University of Toronto in Mathematics and Human Biology. It sparked her attention to health and healing, leading her to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to obtain her N.D. She believes that life is a continual learning process and thus, enjoys being in the classroom with students in addition to being in practice. Ashima’s interests in mental health, immunity, whole foods diets extend her into various in-depth researches and teaching these courses at CSNN.

Irene Swedak, B.Sc., R.H.N.

Irene Swedak graduated with honours from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science Degree, specializing in biochemistry and nutrition. After receiving an honours diploma in holistic nutrition, Irene began practicing as a Holistic Nutritional Consultant and founded Wellness Wizards. Irene currently teaches Ecology and practicums at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. The current focus of Irene's research and seminars is on menu-planning for busy families with children and in August 2006, she released her first book; Feed Me...I'm Hungry!. Irene lectures for both public and private organizations. Recent venues include the Peel School Board, Weyerhaeuser Corporation, The Running Room, Loblaws, Whole Foods Market, and the Canadian Mental Health Association. Popular topics have included: Natural Nutrition for Healthy Living, Nutritional Tools for Stress Management, Effective Natural Approaches for Weight Control, and Detoxification & Cleansing.

Winston Tom, ND., DNM.

Winston Tom is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and has a private practice in Toronto with areas of expertise in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition. He teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, as well as Sports and Geriatric nutrition in the Greater Toronto Area.

Lisa Tsakos, B.A., R.H.N.

Lisa Tsakos is a holistic nutritionist specializing in weight management and sports nutrition. Since founding Nu-Vitality Health & Wellness in 1997, she has had a busy nutritional counseling practice, conducted natural foods cooking workshops, and authored three books. Her current venture is facilitating nutrition programs at numerous corporations. In addition to her corporate work, Lisa teaches nutrition at Centennial College, the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and the Transformational Arts College. Lisa has also been featured on Discovery's Channel 'Food to Go' series.


Daniel Watters B.Sc., N.D.


Daniel Graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after completing a bachelor degree in Biology at the University of Victoria.
His wide array of interests and insights in healing steered him towards a general eclectic style practice in downtown Toronto. He has a special interests in probiotic strain specificity and nutritional genetic polymorphisms, providing great applications in his teachings
