Welcome to CSNN on Vancouver Island, British Columbia!

csnn-nanaimo-home-sideThe Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Vancouver Island now has 2 classroom locations on the island – our original one in Nanaimo and new location in Victoria – enabling students from all over the Island and Gulf Islands to access Canada’s premier education in holistic nutrition. We are also excited to be offering a Holistic Culinary Certificate at both locations (please see ‘Workshops and Corequisites’ page for more information).

Dedicated to promoting health and wellness through natural nutrition, we offer a comprehensive diploma program that integrates a deep knowledge of the healing and preventive properties of food, science, the body/mind/spirit connection, and the environment. Our approach is holistic, blending practical knowledge with hands-on experience in a supportive, student-centered learning environment. For a full list of courses, please request a brochure online.

CSNN Vancouver Island offers many features that make studying here a unique and rewarding experience. We have small classes, allowing for a better learning environment, and provide day (one-year) and evening (two year) programs.  Additionally, we offer holistic culinary workshops that will lead to a Culinary Certificate upon completion of all sessions.

In Nanaimo, we are situated in the historic downtown, at the corner of Church and Front Streets, across from the seaplane terminal, and the busy Nanaimo harbour. Our location is very accessible by public transit, and is within walking distance of many integrated health services, food and related businesses.

In Victoria, for our first year, we will be renting the education room at the Burnside/Gorge Community Centre. This LEEDS Certified building is set in a leafy ravine with the Galloping Goose Trail beside it, close to Douglas Street and the Mayfair Shopping  Centre, very accessible to transit.

Presently, we are accepting registrations for September 2017, and our March 2018 schedule and student contracts will be available by October 2017. We are offering a one-year and two-year diploma program. Both offer the same high standard of teaching and academic support, encouraging our students to achieve a positive work/life balance and a higher level of personal and professional success.

Whether your interest in natural nutrition is based on personal growth, family health, or a professional career choice, we welcome you to join us here.
