Alumni Profile: Danielle Levy
Danielle Levy is a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant™ professional based in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from CSNN in 2009 after completing a certificate program as a Nutrition Educator in at Bauman College in California. Her interest in nutrition grew out of a passion for the environment and animal welfare. After transitioning to a plant-based diet she decided to focus her nutrition studies and practice on plant-based nutrition.
As an active runner and yogi, Danielle has furthered her niche practice by working with athletes who wish to adopt a plant-based diet. Her love of food led Danielle to cook in numerous kitchens around the world including Chiang Mai Thailand, and most recently at Crudessence, an organic raw vegan food company in Montreal.
After working at the Endeavour College of Natural Health’s clinic in Melbourne Australia, Danielle gained the experience of learning how a large-scale health practice was run, which inspired her to set up her own nutrition business. Danielle’s integrative and comprehensive approach to nutrition focuses on a whole-foods diet and a balanced lifestyle.
As a nutrition educator, Danielle is passionate about empowering others to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. She offers consultations from her office in Montreal’s Mile-End, and works with clients all over the world through her website via Skype.
Agriculture and food policy are some of the topics she writes about on her company blog. She also contributes as a writer to Prana bio an organic food company, and Studio Vie fitness and yoga both in Montreal. Danielle also lectures on the following topics: Simple Ways to Adopt A Healthier Diet, The Plant-Based Diet, and How to Live Chemical Free.
