Alumni Profile: Wendy McCallum
Wendy McCallum, LLB, R.H.N., is a food coach and educator who followed her passion for real food by leaving her career as a lawyer and returning to college to learn more about nutrition and food.
She now operates Simple Balance Consulting, based out of Halifax, N.S., through which she helps her individual and family clients reach their wellness, weight and nutrition goals, in part by supporting them in the move from processed food to healthier, real food alternatives. She is also a competent and engaging public speaker and a proficient blogger & writer. Her cookbook, Real Food for Real Families, available at bookstores across Canada and on-line, features many of the recipes her clients love most and tips for how to introduce a family to new approaches to food.
