Dr. Jayelle Haavaldsen, ND

Dr. Jayelle Haavaldsen is a naturopathic doctor serving the Edmonton area. She grew up in St. Albert but spent a decade pursuing post-secondary studies in beautiful British Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in medical biochemistry from UBC’s Okanagan campus in Kelowna. Following that, she spent four years at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) in Vancouver studying naturopathic medicine. She loves being an ND as she loves being able to offer individuals a space to share their story and support them on their journey back to wellness. She never ceases to be amazed by the resilience of the human body and its capacity to heal.

Dr. Haavaldsen has a general family oriented practice, however she is particularly passionate about helping exhausted and depleted women feel vibrant and healthy. A large part of her practice focuses on hormonal imbalances, mental health and stress management. She deeply respects the connection between emotional, mental and physical health, and helps her patients find the balance between them.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Haavaldsen loves being active out in nature, practicing yoga, playing soccer, gardening, and cooking. She is a self professed “cat lady” and has two black cats. For more information about Dr. Haavaldsen and her practice, visit www.drjayellend.com
