Discover a new way to look at food & nutrition from Canada’s largest and leading school of holistic nutrition. A online classroom series that educates you on a overview of nutrition, which helps you understand how to eat well for yourself and your family.

An online classroom series that educates you in a wide variety of nutrition basics. This course is meant to guide you through a variety of topics for simple, actionable nutrition information. Classes run for a total of 21 hours over 10 weeks.

After completion of all workshops, receive a Certificate of Attendance. For those looking to receive the Certificate of Achievement and Continuing Education Credits, students will need to complete all workshops and take 1 test (passing mark is 75%).

Meet Our Instructors

Dacia Mead, C.H.N.C.

Dacia Mead graduated with honors and represented her graduating class as Valedictorian, in 2016, from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Since then she has been working in the industry as an owner/operator of her own nutritional consulting business out of Full Spectrum Chiropractic Clinic in Sherwood Park. She has also worked at Urban Organics and with a small local juice company.

Dacia is very passionate about sport and has her Level 1 certification in Exercise Nutrition from Precision Nutrition and her certification in Spin & Kickboxing, which she has been teaching for the past six years, out of Exist Fitness. She works closely with youth sport teams, coaching dryland fitness and giving many nutritional talks on proper fueling for sports performance. Dacia has currently been training in functional fitness and competed at the 2019 Crossfit Games in B.C.

Crystal Hadikin, BSc., ND

From a young age, Crystal has always had a deep interest in nutrition and medicine. She began her career in the healthcare industry as a pharmacy technician. After this, she worked in research for numerous years while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge. She completed her formal education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. 

Crystal has since pursued additional training as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Naturopathic Doula and training in maternal mental health. She practiced in British Columbia as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in hormones, allergies, postpartum care and neurodivergent conditions. After many years in clinical practice, Crystal has shifted her focus towards her family and her passion for education. 

Supporting the learning journey of the next generation of health and nutrition professionals is something Crystal finds deeply rewarding. She believes that meaningful learning is a collaborative process where instructors and students learn from each other’s personal insights and life experiences. She looks forward to helping students grow into compassionate, knowledgeable nutritionists.
