Admission Requirements

Program:
  • Natural Nutrition Diploma

Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Edmonton provides an education in holistic nutrition. CSNN Edmonton seeks students with academic qualities and commitment that leads to a high level of success in the program.

There are minimum program entry requirements that must be met by applicants before they are enrolled in the program with Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Edmonton as a recognized program under the Private Vocational Training Act.

Education Requirements: (for both Standard and Mature admissions)

Evidence of either of the following must be provided prior to acceptance:

  1. Proof of completion of Grade 12 or accepted post secondary schooling (college, university, etc.)
  2. Applicants must take a Wonderlic Basic Test and achieve a minimum score of 18.

In addition, for applicants where English is a second language, a completion of an English Language Assessment quiz is required. See the section below for details.

Interview Requirements

All applicants must have a Registration Consultation meeting with a representative of Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Edmonton. The meeting can be virtual and must include face-to-face contact.

English as a Second Language

Applicants who provide graduation or post secondary diploma/degree credentials that are not from an accepted country (as listed below) are required to provide proof of one of the following standardized proficiency tests from an authorized assessment agency.

a) Canadian Language Benchmarks test – Overall score of 7 with no part less than 6
b) Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP General) Overall score of 7 with no part less than 6
c) International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic, IELTS General or IELTS Academic Online) – Overall score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0
d) Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL or CAEL Online) – Overall score of 70 with no part less than 60
e) The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition) – Overall score of 88 with no part less than 20
f) Pearson Test of English (PTE) – Overall score of 65 with no part less than 60
