Registration and Admission Requirements

Natural Nutrition Program (1 or 2 year)

Daytime Classes Features

  • Virtual classes you do from home (over Zoom)
  • Live with an instructor (no recorded materials)
  • Easy & convenient hours – 9am – 1pm
  • Attend 2 days per week (with a 3rd day every 2-3 weeks on average)
  • No weekends
  • Qualifies for Canada Part Time Learning Grant
  • Qualifies for Student Aid
  • Schedule available for the entire year so you can book your personal life schedule

Evening Classes Features

  • Virtual classes you do from home
  • Live with an instructor (no recorded materials)
  • Can still do this if you are working full time
  • Schedule aligns well with the kid’s school schedules
  • More time off in summer months
  • Done over 2 years to allow for more space & study time between classes
  • Evening hours 6pm – 10pm
  • One day per week (with an an additional day every 2-3 months on average)
  • Some weekend Saturday am (9am – 1pm) – about 10 in a 2 year period

 


  • 18 years of age or older
  • minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. or a completed post-secondary school education or Wonderlic Scholastic Competency Test for mature learners
  • interview by school

In Alberta, mature student status is not available. All students at CSNN Edmonton must meet all admissions requirements.

A photocopy of a picture ID is also required to complete a student file at CSNN Edmonton . CSNN Edmonton holds two information sessions during the year to answer questions regarding CSNN and the Natural Nutrition Program for potential students. Our information sessions are held in January/February and April each year. Please reference the CSNN Edmonton Community page for the next available information session.

Steps for registering with the program:

2. Fill out our interest form, and then receive instructions to book a one-on-one meeting with us for questions. (no obligation or fee)

3. Meet with our staff for an one-to-one question session. (no obligation or fee)

4. Fill out registration forms and email to us (edmonton@csnn.ca) with a copy of your high school diploma or transcripts.  If you do not have a high school diploma, please email us to arrange for an equivalent competency test. (Registration fee required)

Introduction Certificate Registration:

Student Admission Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Interest in nutrition

Students may register for these classes that run for 12 weeks. It consists of 2 parts:

  • Part 1 – 7 weeks
  • Part 2 – 5 weeks

Completion of the Introduction Certificate can be applied towards your Natural Nutrition Diploma Program.

Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Certificate:

Discover a new way to look at food & nutrition from Canada’s largest and leading school of holistic nutrition. A online classroom series that educates you on a overview of nutrition, which helps you understand how to eat well for yourself and your family.

Alberta Student Number (ASN)

Below is the government link to either ‘Look-Up’ or ‘Request’ an Alberta Student Number (ASN) from the Government of Alberta. This link will take you to the Learner Registry Look-Up ASN page, which can be used if you have completed schooling in Alberta. Please fill in the requested information and your ASN will be emailed to you within 3 minutes. If you have not previously completed schooling in Alberta, you will need to go to the top left tab and click ‘Request ASN On-Line’ and fill in your information. The reason you are requesting an ASN is because you have registered with an Alberta Post-Secondary Institution. They will email you this number within 36 hours. This number is a requirement on the Government of Alberta Student Contract to apply to CSNN.
