Introduction Certificate

If you would like to learn more about CSNN Mississauga’s live, virtual, interactive, classroom learning, we offer the introductory course Fundamentals of Nutrition Part 1 & 2. This is a great course to learn about natural nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle that you may apply directly into your daily life. After you complete this course, you may wish would continue with the rest of our program if space is available. Please contact our office for a registration form: mississauga@csnn.ca

Fundamentals of Nutrition (Part 1) | 21 hours

The Fundamentals of Nutrition course offers a comprehensive overview of the field of nutrition, which leads to a study and understanding of the link between nutrition and preventive medicine. The course explains the role of macronutrients, vitamins and minerals, and the importance of water in the diet. It describes how certain dietary habits undermine our health and provides suggestions for overcoming these habits. It looks at the effect of pollution on our health and the health of our planet.

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday daytime; March 29, 31, April 7, 12, 14, 19

Time: 10:00am – 1:30pm

Fundamentals of Nutrition (Part 2) | 15 hours

Through a diet of high nutritional quality, we can support life at every stage. Fundamentals of Nutrition (Part 2) explains the ten key components of a healthy diet and discusses the changing nutritional needs of various age groups during growth and development. Students learn the health benefits of and basic guidelines for fasting and detoxification.

Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Certificate

Starting March 20th, 2021 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm

An online classroom series that educates you in a wide variety of nutrition basics. This course is meant to guide you through a variety of topics to understand how to eat well for yourself and your family. Classes run for a total of 20 hours.

After completion of all workshops, receive a Certificate of Attendance. For those looking to receive the Certificate of Achievement and Continuing Education Credits, students will need to complete all workshops and take 1 test (passing mark is 75%).
