Vivian Lee, B.A., R.H.N., R.N.C.P., T.C.M.Dp., C.ht – CSNN Metro Toronto Branch Manager
Vivian is the licensed manager of the Metro Toronto Branch where she also teaches. Since departing from her corporate career, Vivian has become a multi-disciplinary practitioner in holistic health and has been practicing since 1990’s. Among her practices, is Nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The latter is a certified discipline that encompasses herbology, acupuncture and tuina. She is also a qualified instructor of ZhiNeng(R) Medicine QiGong and is active in expounding natural healing into current applications and science.
Corina Dinca, H.B.Sc., N.D.
Corina obtained her naturopathic medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Corina attended the University of Toronto for four years where she attained her Honours BSc. specializing in Human Health and Disease.
Having a general family practice allows Corina to further her insights in a wide spectrum of illnesses and conditions affecting patients of all ages. Her clinical practice has a special focus on digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances and autoimmune illnesses. Corina’s goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools to effectively care for their health concerns as well as to increase longevity and decrease the onset and progression of chronic diseases through quality foods and lifestyle.
Outside of her clinical practice, Corina is a passionate teacher and lecturer. She has delivered numerous workshops and lectures pertaining to naturopathic medicine, diet and nutrition, stress management and detoxification to the general public and various corporations. Corina is also the therapeutic advisor for one of Canada’s largest and renowned supplement companies with a wide array of product lines.
Elise Benczkowski, B.Sc., R.H.N.
Elise is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional who is passionate about food, health and nutrition. For the past 8+ years she has been combining her background and training in fitness and nutrition to help others reach their health goals. Elise is the owner and founder of Healthy by Nature, a nutrition consulting company that specializes in individualized nutrition and health plans for busy clients.
After completing the Natural Nutrition Program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Elise continued her studies in health and wellness at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is currently practicing Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, with a focus in integrative oncology. Elise is eager to share her knowledge and practical experience in health with her clients and students.
Lara Spector, B.Sc., N.D.
Lara is a Naturopathic Doctor with a focus in her practice on motivating and empowering her patients to create balance in all aspects of their health. Her clinical interests include women’s health, fertility, digestive disorders and the mind/body connection. Lara holds an honours bachelor of science degree from the University of Toronto and subsequently completed the naturopathic medical program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in British Colombia. Lara teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where she shares with students her clinical experience and passion in attaining health balance
Caroline M. Dupont, M.Sc., R.H.N.
Caroline holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, a Black Belt in the NIA technique (a holistic movement form), is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional, and a Certified E.M.S. Balancing Practitioner. Through her company Health & Beyond, she works with clients individually, offers NIA mind, body, fitness and whole-foods cooking classes, and presents various health related topics. She teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Greater Toronto Area branches and at Seneca College’s Holistic Health Program.
Jennifer Pun, ND, BSc.
Jennifer Pun, ND, graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Sciences – a balanced program of combining science and art . After setting out to find the perfect career to complement her interests, as an artist, a teacher, a graphic designer, and a yoga instructor, Jennifer happily found the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after exploring various options . She is passionate about patient education, the fusion of Eastern and Western philosophies, and individualized medicine. Jennifer’s special interests include Women’s Health, Fertility, Pediatrics, Digestive function, Detoxification, Weight Loss, Endocrinology, Preventative Medicine, and Mind-Body Medicine. She practices in midtown Toronto.
Lilian Presti, B.A., RNCP
Lilian Presti has been working in the field of wellness for the last 8 years. Currently she does nutritional counseling in several health clubs, runs a weight loss program in a wellness center, delivers corporate nutrition seminars and wellness programs. She strives to help attain goals in weight management, improved vitality, healthy pregnancy and children’s nutrition. Lilian has been featured in various magazines, MSN/Sympatico’s Weight Loss Challenge and occasional TV appearances. She has also worked with beauty product companies to add nutritional expertise to their promotional activities.
Erin Psota, B.Sc., N.D.
Erin completed her medical studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Waterloo. Her passion regarding children’s health care led her to Arizona in pursuit of a unique Pediatric Residency opportunity in 2010. Erin is the only Canadian ND to have completed a residency of this kind. Erin is registered and actively involved with the Ontario Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N).
With the belief that an integrative setting is the best approach to health care, Erin maintains a general family and pediatric practice at two locations downtown Toronto alongside medical doctors, chiropractors, midwives, registered massage therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and orthopedists.
Romi Raina, ND, BSc, BA
Dr. Raina attended McMaster University and obtained degrees in Life Science and Medical Anthropology. Then, inspired to learn a form of medicine that uses a holistic framework while still maintaining a scientific approach he pursued a degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Along with his board certification and membership in Naturopathic Doctors Ontario Dr. Raina holds certifications in parenteral therapy and first line therapy. Previously he has worked in a community health care facility in Manaus, Brazil, alongside traditional healers in Q`eqchi, Guatemala. And after working as a medic in the Canadian Forces for the past fourteen years Dr. Raina has learned to understand and appreciate the balance between evidence based medicine and patient based natural medicine. With an eclectic background in science, medical education and hands-on experience Dr. Raina gained a deep understanding of health and wellbeing.
Dr. Raina see himself as a general practitioner in complementary medicine suited to address a wide range of health concerns from the common cold to more complicated chronic conditions. In addition to his private practices in Markham and Whitby he teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, a supervisor for the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and a medic for the Canadian Forces.
Lorene Sauro, B.A., R.H.N.
As a member of Knives and Forks-Advocates of Organic Agriculture, Lorene has been working with farmers and promoting organic agriculture for twelve years. As a Cordon Bleu graduate, she has worked in the food industry for 17+ years as a chef and a product developer for many corporate companies. She is currently working as holistic nutriton professional, teacher, and product developer. She teaches at CSNN Greater Toronto Area branches.
Debbie Smrz, BSc., N.D.
Debbie graduated from Guelph University with an honours degree in Genetics and Molecular biology. After working and travelling the world, returned to study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine. With two children of her own, Debbie has a special interest in children and women’s health, breast cancer, environmental medicine, fertility and pain management, has good success working with clients desiring weight loss, as well as anti-aging assistance. She is trained in Darkfield microscopy and terrain analysis, certified in IV therapy and facial rejuvenation, and has travelled to Europe to undertake further training in biological medicine.
Debbie is also a sports and fitness enthusiast. A past member of the Markham Rugby Football Club and Guelph Varsity Lacrosse, she now partakes in Ultimate Frisbee, tennis, biking and running. She just completed her first triathlon and has been a fitness instructor for over 14 years. She is an energetic and compelling speaker, and has spoken at various corporate events and Shows. Her goal is to combine her motivational and lifestyle counseling skills to guide and facilitate change to restore and maintain optimal health in her practice and guided retreats.
Ashima Suneja, BSc., ND
Ashima attained an honours B.Sc. from the University of Toronto in Mathematics and Human Biology. It sparked her attention to health and healing, leading her to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to obtain her N.D. She believes that life is a continual learning process and thus, enjoys being in the classroom with students in addition to being in practice. Ashima’s interests in mental health, immunity, whole foods diets extend her into various in-depth researches and teaching these courses at CSNN.
Daniel Watters, B.Sc., N.D.
Daniel Graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after completing a bachelor degree in Biology at the University of Victoria. His wide array of interests and insights in healing steered him towards a general eclectic style practice in downtown Toronto. He has a special interests in probiotic strain specificity and nutritional genetic polymorphisms, providing great applications in his teachings.
Michelle Weir, R.H.N.
Michelle Weir, Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ professional, graduated with Honours from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) and was the recipient of the “Award of Excellence”. Michelle has also earned her certification in Nutritional Live Blood Cell Microscopy. In addition, Michelle has a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree with a major in Human Nutrition (Administrative Dietetics) from the University of Guelph.
It was her own health issues that led Michelle back, full circle, to her early schooling in nutrition education, but this time embracing the Holistic arena. Michelle has successfully grown her clinical practice with a primary focus on digestive issues (i.e. Candida, parasites, allergies, skin issues), the liver, detoxification protocols, pH management, Type 2 diabetes and cancer. Nutritional live blood cell microscopy is a tool she uses to help motivate clients, identify nutritional imbalances and assist in monitoring their progress. Michelle practises in midtown Toronto.
Liam LaTouche, HBSc, ND
Dr. Liam LaTouche graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Science Honors Specialization in Kinesiology and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, allowing him to combine his passions for fitness, modern scientific knowledge, and traditional systems of medicine. With patients, he strives to address the underlying root cause of disease and promote re-establishment of a healthy balance within the body using a variety of evidence-informed dietary and lifestyle strategies. As an educator, he works to foster curiosity, critical analysis, competency, and passion in students and health professionals looking to expand their knowledge base and clinical skills.
Dr LaTouche is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and an active member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.
