Career Highlights:
In our disconnected world, Sharon has a love of creating nutrient dense recipes to help build connection. These are first gluten-free and some plant-based. When Sharon was injured from a motorcycle accident, in 2018, which she calls “Project Me”, her talented physio, the “Project Director of Project Me”, Klara, suggested Sharon take a recipe, make it more nutrient dense, and then type it up.
This opened a window to have a number of Sharon’s recipes featured at different webinars and at events Sharon hosts; and also contribute to the ReKnew Cookbook, featuring Holistic Nutrition Practitioners across Canada.
Sharon has been a guest on a number of podcasts and Live LinkedIn and Live Instagram, hosted by different people.
Sadly like many, I was experiencing a great deal of digestive discomfort, with no answers for many years. This opened windows to look at different recipes and read extensively on gut health, stress and nutrition. I started looking into holistic health programs and attending open house events.
My interest lay in learning more about the intersection with the body, mind and spirit. I also felt if I was to pursue this additional learning it had to be in concert with my more than full time job as an executive assistant.
The beauty of the part-time program is you can also work while taking these courses. I am incredibly grateful for the learning at CSNN. Not only was the learning beautiful, it was the relationships with those in our class. It is not very often you have an opportunity to engage in learning with others where the ages span close to 3 decades, where each person is incredibly supportive of the other. CSNN creates a nourishing culture of learning and sharing.
