I’m Blenda, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ and Certified Personal Trainer passionate about helping individuals build confidence through a holistic approach to wellness. I believe that nourishing the body with healthy eating habits while cultivating a positive mindset creates a more fulfilling and balanced lifestyle.
I’m also an IVF mom of two. After facing fertility challenges for over five years, I embraced a healthier lifestyle that ultimately supported my journey to motherhood. My passion for nutrition began with transforming my own health and focusing instead on whole, nutrient-dense foods.
My studies at Canadian School of Natural Nutrition deepened my understanding of the connection between gastrointestinal health and nutrient absorption, leading me to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ in 2014.
Going back to school for Holistic Nutrition was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It not only changed my health, but it also transformed my fertility journey and helped prepare my body for motherhood.
In 2013, after years of struggling with infertility, I decided to take a different path. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for five years without success.
Eventually, my doctor referred us to a fertility specialist. We went through multiple tests, blood work, and several rounds of IUI treatments, but nothing worked. After unsuccessful cycles, we decided to take a break from fertility treatments for a year.
That year became life-changing.
I chose to go back to school to study natural nutrition and become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™. I focused on nourishing and supporting my body in every way possible. What started as a desire to improve my health became a complete lifestyle transformation.
Over time, I noticed incredible changes. I had more energy, felt healthier, and finally felt truly connected to my body. For the first time in years, I felt hopeful and confident that my body was ready.
In the summer of 2014, we returned to our fertility clinic and moved forward with IVF and ICSI treatments. That fall, I became pregnant with our first child. In July 2015, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world.
A few years later, in 2017, we returned to our fertility doctor to try for our second child. We proceeded with a frozen embryo transfer, and in May 2018, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy.
Looking back, going back to school for Holistic Nutrition gave me so much more than a diploma. It gave me knowledge, empowerment, hope, and a deeper understanding of how to care for my body.
