Students graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition are dedicated holistic nutrition professionals who educate individuals about the health benefits of natural nutrition.
CSNN’s comprehensive science-based Natural Nutrition Program qualifies students to earn a professional designation and title upon graduation.
Graduates may use R.H.N., C.H.N., or C.H.N.C. as these are equivalent credentials. The designation you use depends on where you practice and where your clients are located, as those regulations would apply. This holds true for both in-person practices and online practices. By teaching students the provincial health acts, CSNN provides all students the needed tools to practice effectively and legally in Canada. Graduates who want to practice in the United States will be referred to the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), an organization familiar with the regulations in the various states.
Since 1994, CSNN has procured several titles for graduates to choose from, allowing each graduate to select a title that aligns with the health legislation of the province in which they wish to practice.
The most common titles are:
In the Fundamentals of Business course, where students gain essential knowledge and tools for establishing a holistic nutrition practice, they also study the provincial health acts that determine which professional titles may be used.
