Biography

Jasmine Garcha is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant™ and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.

In the classroom, Jasmine brings a distinctive, grounded, and heart-centered approach to holistic nutrition. She weaves together insights from her own personal healing journey, intuitive and expressive storytelling, a curiosity for ancient and traditional medicine, and a deep passion for gardening. Her areas of interest include digestive health, autoimmune wellness, brain health, the gut-brain connection, the body–mind–spirit connection, and Ayurveda.

As both an educator and advocate, Jasmine is committed to creating an empowering and engaging learning environment, one that emphasizes practical application and encourages self-awareness and compassion in the practice of holistic nutrition. She believes in meeting students and clients where they are and guiding them to build confidence in their knowledge and intuition.

Jasmine’s journey into holistic nutrition began after years of struggling with disordered eating and challenges with gut, hormonal, and mental health. Her personal experiences with PCOS, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, and IBS inspired her to explore holistic healing. More recently, her ongoing recovery from a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) and personal life traumas have deepened her understanding of the importance of nervous system regulation and trauma-informed wellness.

Beyond her professional work, Jasmine is an avid traveler who loves exploring spiritual and healing traditions from around the world. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, she loves spending time in nature and hiking. When she is not in the forest, you can find her gardening, watching sports, and living her best life at a concert, enjoying live music.

Jasmine has taught at multiple CSNN branches and primarily teaches Fundamentals of Nutrition I & II, Ayurveda, and Case Study Practicals.
