  • First, I want to thank all of you for an amazing experience! I enrolled in this course to improve my husband’s health—and my own he is handicap and immunocompromised. I wasn’t looking to start a business or make money from this diploma. Honestly, I thought it would be simpler, more focused on meal planning, macronutrients, calorie counting, and recipes. I had no idea how deep and fascinating it would be! This program completely changed my perspective, and now it’s becoming a real passion. Each lesson gives me more knowledge and shapes my approach not just to food, but to all aspects of wholeness. Since starting, I’ve made some big changes. I eat only whole foods, work on reducing stress, stay active, and have replaced anything in my home that wasn’t safe—from cookware to cleaning products, soaps, shampoos, makeup, body care etc…When I finish, my goal is to use this knowledge to help others as a volunteer, not for money. I feel like I’ve finally found the right way to make a difference, and holistic nutrition is the answer for me.

  • I appreciate that this course allows me to complete my studies in a way that accommodates my personal schedule. Having the course online have allowed me to complete courses from the comfort of my home, in a way that I feel supported, and at my own pace. I feel supported by the online community and have had excellent experiences with the academic advisors and administrative staff. I also love the online seminars as they provide so much additional information that I can use to support my course learning.

  • I love that the Distance ed. option has allowed me to pursue becoming a Nutritionist while continuing to be a stay at home mother. Without the option to study from home, I could never have fulfilled this dream.

  • I really like that the course requires you to do the exercises of case studies as well as the case histories project to really develop your knowledge and confidence in supporting clients. I am happy with how the course is laid out and with the support and guidance provided, being that it is an online program, there is a lot of help. I also like that it repeats, or backtracks to encourage you to explain your choices and find reasoning behind your decisions.

  • CSNN is above and beyond my expectations. I love everything I am learning. I have a general degree in Nutrition from the University of Alberta but I enrolled in CSNN to expand my knowledge. The first first lesson in my first course, I learnt stuff that I never had before. Its like the iceberg effect. I knew the peak but now I am learning everything submerged under water

  • I really like how scientifically in depth and rigorous this program is. I feel I made such a great choice as there are so many options out there in the field of holistic nutrition and health coaching. I know once I’ve completed this program I will be more an equipped to start my career.

  • I can’t stop thinking about everything that I am learning, I go through my day (working full-time) and I just want to keep going forward with this program.  What we have learned so far I have been applying to myself and see many positive results. I enjoy working at my own pace.  The instructors are available to answer questions and I really like the videos being posted.

  • It has always been my dream to learn more about nutrition, and how valuable proper nutrition is. At CSNN I have already learned so much. The information and course content is always presented in a manner that is well understood. Also, the academic advisors are very helpful. I was a bit skeptical about online distance learning, but CSNN has made it fun and enjoyable thus far!

  • Symptomatology has been the best course so far. The first few courses were a bit heavy with facts, having a health sciences background made these courses easier.I like how the courses are organized because having this base knowledge going into symptomatology where you are able to apply what you learned it great.Self paced nature of online learning, sometime I have a lot of time for school and other times I have no time.

  • I like that I can complete the course work at my own pace from home. All course work thus far, has been very interesting and informative. I have a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, and I am finding that I am learning more about how to work with clients and addressing their individual needs than I have learned from my degree. I like that this course involves the mind, body and spirit aspects as they are integral to our overall health, not just the food we eat.

  • I thought I already knew a lot about nutrition and healthy eating and I’m realizing that I still have lots to learn. This program so far, is providing me with many great tools, skills and knowledge that will help me serve my clients better.

    Tanya, A.
  • The amount of information I am receiving/ learning, the amount of help available if needed. I really enjoy the community atmosphere as well, it’s not a fend for yourself kind course/school which makes it very comfortable and easy to reach out when needed.

  • I have always had an interest in nutrition as I have been on a self-guided journey for the last 5 years. It has been so beneficial to dive deeper into topics I had some knowledge of before but now am gaining deeper insight into. I am finding areas of study I never thought I would be interested in and it has kept me motivated going further. I enjoy the freedom of online learning as I learn how to properly balance my outside life and my studies.

    Taylor, M.
  • I am learning things I didn’t know, even though I have taken other nutrition classes. Work and quizzes test my knowledge. They are challenging but not too difficult. I am enjoying my experience so far.

    Lori-Ann, M.

I appreciate that the online course is available, I have multiple jobs and this enables me to pursue education on my own timeline.

  • My journey as a CSNN student has been a delightful one. The learning experience has not only deepened my appreciation for the importance of diet and nutrition in cultivating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but it has also broadened my understanding of the role of nutrition in the prevention of diseases.
