INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks (see note)
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1 small green apple
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1 1/4 cup fresh baby spinach
  • small handful fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 freshly squeezed lime juice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve right away.

Note: If you use fresh pineapple instead of frozen, switch your water for ice chunks to keep your smoothie cool!
